How the Story Goes

1989
Origin of Lanier Pallet
Richard and Meshell Lewis founded Lanier Pallet Recycling in 1989. When they outgrew their one-dock facility in Gainesville, GA, they rennovated a cow pasture in Commerce, GA into the 20-acre facility we have today.

Origin of Adams Pallet
Starting as a long-haul trucker, Mitchell Ledford built his pallet company from the ground up, naming it Adams Pallet Company after his son.

Adam's Leadership
After graduating from Harvard, Adam Ledford stepped in as owner of Adams Pallet Company and expanded operations exponentially.

First grinder procured, converting wood waste directly to mulch

Rush Pallets Inc.
Adams Pallet acquired Lanier Pallet Recycling from Meshell Lewis, rebranding as Rush Pallets. Members of both teams and families continue to grow the business today.

Adam Leford

President, Owner

Adam is the brains of the operation, the big idea person. He’s a highly motivated team player, which makes him a joy to be around. The people lucky enough to call Adam family are his wife Anna, sons Charlie and Callan, and dog Murphy.

  • Adam played Ivy League football and graduated with a degree in Economics from Harvard University.
  • His favorite hobby is fishing. Ask him about his PB largemouth bass!

Katy Young

Sales Manager

Outgoing, persistent, and competitive. She calls herself the World’s Friendliest Shark, but in truth, she’s the type of person who remembers your grandma’s birthday.

She is mother to Lily & a black lab named Winn Dixie.
